Virtual conference for freelance journalists [Worldwide]

Freelance journalists can register to attend a virtual conference.

The National Press Club Journalism Institute is hosting the virtual conference “The Freelance Life: What to know and how to grow.” The conference is designed to equip freelancers with practical tools, insider knowledge and expert guidance.

Participants will hear from seasoned freelancers, editors and an attorney about today’s freelance landscape and learn how to build their businesses, successfully pitch stories and thrive as an independent journalist in an evolving industry.

This virtual half-day conference will be held on Aug. 15.

Tickets are US$25 for National Press Club members and US$35 for the public.
