Reuters seeks Visual Verification and Newsgathering Producer [Middle East]

Experienced journalists in visual verification can apply for this hybrid, full-time position in Cairo, Egypt.

Thomson Reuters, the world’s largest multimedia news provider, is seeking applications for a Visual Verification and Newsgathering Producer.

Candidates will be responsible for using OSINT techniques and tools such as satellite imagery, file imagery, metadata, weather data and tracking trends. They will also be expected to pitch human-led stories, follow  the biggest international stories of the day and stay updated on the latest developments in the digital industry, including those related to artificial intelligence.

Successful applicants should be proficient in spoken and written English, and have prior experience in social media newsgathering, verification, open-source intelligence tools and verification processes.
