Professional development stipends for trans journalists [US]

Trans journalists interested in enhancing their professional skills are eligible for stipends.

The Trans Journalists Association (TJA) is accepting applications for its Level Up program which offers stipends for journalists' professional development;

To apply, applicants must propose a training, conference or other professional development opportunity that either supports trans journalists in developing their careers or supports efforts to produce accurate coverage of trans communities.

Selected journalists will receive a stipend of US$250 or US$500.

Applicants must be TJA members.

The deadline is Aug. 11.
