NLGJA Excellence in Journalism Awards open [Worldwide]

Journalists can submit entries and compete for prizes.

The Association of LGBTQ+ Journalists (NLGJA) is accepting entries for its Excellence in Journalism Awards. The awards recognize excellence in journalism on issues related to the LGBTQ+ community.

Categories include special recognition, print/online, digital, editorial, broadcast, and more. Works published in 2024 are eligible for submission.

The awards are open to anyone, including non-members and journalists who do not identify as LGBTQ+.

Entry fees range from US$25 to US$100.

Winners will receive their awards during the NLGJA National Convention in September.

The early bird deadline is Feb. 17. The regular deadline is April 1.
