Aspiring journalists enrolled at colleges and universities in the U.S. can apply for an internship.

The National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ), in partnership with The Wall Street Journal, is offering the NABJ-Wall Street Journal Internship. The goal of the program is to identify and foster emerging talent and contribute to the professional growth and development of aspiring journalists through real-world experience, mentorship and structured training.

Throughout the program, interns are encouraged to pitch their own stories and projects and follow them through to completion with supervision and guidance from an editor.

Interns will work at a Wall Street Journal newsroom in New York, Chicago, Detroit, Houston, Los Angeles, San Francisco or Washington D.C.

Interns will be paid US$28.57 per hour for the 10-week program which runs from June to August 2026.

The deadline is Oct. 31.
