Media workshops for journalists from coastal countries [Worldwide]

Journalists from coastal countries around the world can apply for a virtual workshop.

Internews’ Earth Journalism Network (EJN) is hosting two online media workshops on the 30x30 marine conservation target and marine protected areas. The workshops seek to improve journalists’ reporting on solutions being implemented to reach the target.

Participants will understand best practices and journalistic techniques for covering the progress toward 30x30, including how to use accountability journalism to monitor actions taken by governments and other decision-making entities.

The three-day workshops will be held in March.

The application deadline is Jan. 16.
