JournalismAI Skills Lab offers virtual training [Worldwide]

Journalists and media professionals worldwide can apply for virtual AI training.

JournalismAI, a project of Polis – the journalism think-tank at the London School of Economics and Political Science - is offering the JournalismAI Skills Lab. The program teaches participants how to practically implement LLMs and GenAI in their work and adopt AI technologies in their daily newsroom context.

The program helps individuals upskill and equips them to develop their own GenAI-based tools, prototypes or proofs-of-concept. The prototypes will be based on two tracks: AI to improve storytelling/reporting and AI to improve workflows.

At the end of the free 12-week program, two individuals with the most promising outcomes will receive financial awards.

The deadline is June 15.
