Journalism award honors youth reporting [Worldwide]

News outlets around the world that collaborate with young people can submit nominations for an award.

The Global Youth & News Media Prize, in partnership with News Decoder, the International Center for Journalists (ICFJ) and others, is accepting nominations for its 2025 Journalism Award. The award seeks to find, celebrate and spread the word about the lessons from the best cases of success in youth-local news media collaborations from around the world.

This year's Journalism Award spotlights great youth collaborations that contribute to the survival of local news outlets.

Candidates can be self-nominated or submitted by a third-party nominator.

The deadline is June 16.
