The training will take place in April, running for five days in Damascus and another five days in Idlib. It will include hands-on training, practical exercises and Q&A sessions with expert speakers.

The training will cover many topics, such as the principles and ethics of investigative journalism, planning investigative projects, open-source research, and more.

Applicants must have at least two years of experience, reside in Damascus, its countryside, Idlib, or its surrounding areas, and possess strong research skills and familiarity with Google search tools.

Interested candidates should send their CV, three links of their published works and a story idea relevant to Syrians inside or outside Syria.

The application deadline is March 15.
