Earth Shorts fellowship for journalists and content creators [South & Southeast Asia]

Environmental journalists and social media content creators based in South and Southeast Asia are eligible for a fellowship.

Internews’ Earth Journalism Network (EJN) is accepting applications for its Earth Shorts fellowship. The program is designed to enable journalists and content creators to share insights and create evidence-based and engaging biodiversity-related content on social media.

Ten social media content creators and 10 journalists will be selected. The program will begin with a joint three-day virtual training workshop in September, followed by several months of content production supported by regular mentorship and peer learning activities.

Participants will receive US$2,000 each.

Journalists and social media content creators from the following countries can apply: Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal, Maldives, Bhutan, Thailand (including Myanmar nationals based in Thailand), Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Timor-Leste and the Philippines.

The deadline is July 16.
