Arab video producers can apply for this opportunity.

DW Akademie, in partnership with Utopia, is seeking a video producer to create a short, high-quality video (approximately two minutes) as part of its Dialogue Formats Project in northern Lebanon.

The video will spotlight the personal journey of one of the  participating citizen journalists from a marginalized community, focusing on their experience with dialogue and the project’s impact on their life.

Video producers will be responsible for concept development, filming, directing, editing, adding subtitles, delivering versions optimized for the web and social medium, and ensure that all content must meet DW’s editorial and ethical standards.

The final video must be delivered by July 31, with a total budget of $2,000 — 30 percent payable after filming, and 70 percent upon final approval. The fee covers all production-related expenses.

Applicants should send their CV, budget proposal and samples of similar work to the email mentioned in the job description: daad.ibrahim@dw.com.

The deadline is May 28.
