Domestic Violence Symposium and Impact Fund available [US]

Journalists based in the United States can register to attend a virtual symposium.

The University of Southern California Annenberg Center for Health Journalism offers its annual Domestic Violence Symposium and Impact Fund. The initiatives provide reporters with a roadmap for covering this public health epidemic with nuance and sensitivity.

Reporters with a California-focused idea who attend the symposium will be eligible to apply for a reporting grant

Grants of US$2,000 to US$10,000 will be awarded. Grantees will also receive five months of professional mentorship from a veteran journalist.

The symposium will be held on Sept. 25.
