Conference sponsorship for science journalists [Worldwide]

Science journalists can apply for sponsorship to attend a conference.

GlobalDev, an initiative of the Global Development Network (GDN), is offering sponsorship for science journalists to attend the Global Development Conference (GDC) 2025. The conference will be held Oct. 28 to 30 in Clermont-Ferrand, France.

Selected journalists will receive a travel grant, accommodation and exclusive access to special sessions during GDN’s flagship event, which focuses on the theme ‘Inclusive Digital Transformation: Social Impacts and Technological Innovations.’

Participants will also attend capacity-building workshops designed to enhance communication and storytelling around complex development topics.

Women journalists, those from low- and middle-income countries (LMICs), and individuals from underserved communities are encouraged to apply.

The deadline is July 27.
