Amnesty International honors human rights reporting [Canada]

Canada-based journalists and Canadian journalists reporting abroad can submit nominations for an award.

Amnesty International is accepting nominations for its Canada Media Awards. The awards recognize excellence in human rights reporting.

Submissions can be made in eight categories: National Written News Story, Long-form Video, Radio, Podcast, Mixed Media, Short-Form Video, Local/Alternative Media, and Post-Secondary Youth.

Entries published or broadcast in Canada between January 1, 2024 and December 31, 2024 are eligible for submission.

The deadline is June 30.
