AI workshop for journalists [US]

Journalists can register for a workshop.

The National Press Club Journalism Institute is offering the workshop “Intro to AI for Journalists.”

Participants will learn how to incorporate AI into their daily work habits. They will discuss the ethical considerations journalists should make when using this technology.

The workshop also features hands-on training sessions to help journalists develop a functional prompt-engineering strategy, learn the basics of LLM-powered data analysis and build an AI toolkit.

The workshop will be held on May 16 at the National Press Club in Washington.

The fee is US$40 for National Press Club members and US$50 for nonmembers.
